The new building of the Maerlant College houses the special secondary education courses of Markant and De Schakel, the VMBO, HAVO, Atheneum, Gymnasion and a sports hall. The design consists of a composition of separate components, interconnected with atria, and situated around a generous interior street that forges the whole into a single unit.
