The renovation for “VO de Passie” is located on the Zwarte Woud in Utrecht. Renovation and expansion was chosen because the existing building offered ample opportunities to transform into sustainable, contemporary housing that fits seamlessly with the educational vision.

A limited, non-current part around the former auditorium has been demolished. The rest has been completely renovated. The desired extension with a new entrance and auditorium has been realized by means of new construction on the south side. This results in a compact, clear whole. Old and new buildings have been merged into one integral design with a contemporary look.
